This pretty and unspoilt fishing village is a great place to catch a boat and go sea angling or if you are feeling less adventurous just wander around one of the most impressive harbours in Cornwall.
Porthlevan is the most southerly port in Britain, its Imposing harbour having been built in the 1820s with the aid of prisoners from the Napoleonic war. There are some lovely galleries, cafes, shops and restaurants strung around the Harbours edge, and a small craft market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Check our events calendar for the regular Porthlevan food and music festival. Find out more here: http://www.porthlevenfoodfestival.co.uk/
