St Michaels Mount | Cornwall

Marazion is a pretty town on Mount’s Bay and it is from here that one can visit St Michaels castle.

When the tide is out it can be reached by crossing the causeway, or you can get a boat. Entry to the island is free, the Castle is co-managed by The National Trust and an entrance fee applies.  The sunsets here can be stunning. Marazion has plenty of cafes, restaurants, galleries, gift shops, a pasty bakery and a fish and chip shop. The beach is great for kids and popular with wind and kite surfers. There is plenty of parking, public toilets and a play park for children.
